The Law Enforcement Foundation of Barron County is a publicly supported, charitable organization dedicated to fostering public safety through community building, education, and out-reach.


Participant Registration

When & where is the Cops & Robbers Donut Dash 2026?
The Dash takes place on July 18, 2026 at 8:30am at the Barron County Fairgrounds, 101 Short St, Rice Lake, WI.
What is the cost?
The cost for registration is $27 per person.
What is included with registration?
T-shirt (guaranteed with pre- registration before June 23rd, after that date and day of registration is 1st come 1st served), Barron County Fair Ticket, race number bib, & refreshments after the race (donuts!).
What is the age limit?
There is no age limit, all ages are welcome, kids under 7 are FREE (no registration needed, free entry does not include a t-shirt). Strollers are allowed.
Is there late registration available?
You can register on race day at the fair grounds from 7am-8am. Day-of registration is $27 and there is no guarantee for any give away items for day of registrations.
Where is the packet pick up and time?
Packet pickup will be on Thursday July 16th and Friday, July 17th from 12pm to 6pm at the Barron County Fairgrounds.
What if I am not an avid runner?
You do not need to be an avid runner and are welcome to walk the route.
Can I bring my dog?
Due to the July heat we do not encourage you to bring a pet.
Is the race timed?
No, but there will be a time clock at the end for you to record your own finish time, you will receive a keepsake runners bib. We suggest bringing a stopwatch.
What are the prizes?
The 1st male and 1st female to finish will be receiving an award.
Any refunds?
No. Refunds will not be given after you have registered.
Where do the proceeds go?
The Cops & Robbers Donut Dash is a fundraiser for the Shop With A Cop program. All proceeds go to the Law Enforcement Foundation to be used for Shop With A Cop. Shop With A Cop pairs police officers with children in need to go gift shopping for their families with gift cards provided to them during the holiday season.
